Monstera Deliciosa
This gorgeous plant’s well-known split leaves are so gorgeous they have even been shown several times in home decor magazines, by artists and are being used by floral professionals to showcase their designs in an artful contemporary way.
The monstera deliciosa is easy to grow and can live for many years and grow to be quite large. This is a must-have plant for your floral shop as it fits with a wide variety of interior design styles.
The monstera deliciosa is also known as hurricane plant, swiss cheese plant, or Mexican breadfruit, and is easy to identify from the huge glossy green leaves that have large slits and holes. Just as many varieties of houseplants are, it is a plant that is native to tropical regions. Monstera Deliciosa comes from southern Mexico and Central America in the rainforests.
The plant usually does not bloom when kept indoors, but outside it will produce a flower that becomes an edible fruit. A pot that is well-draining and peaty is the perfect place to plant the monstera deliciosa as long as it has enough drainage holes. Water this plant when the quarter-to-third top of the soil is dry to the touch, you can apply your standard plant fertilizer once a month, and leaves can be kept clean with a washcloth that has a drop of dish detergent and water.

The best part about this plant is that it is now a NASA approved air purifier that has shown that the snake plant can remove toxins in the air such as nitrogen oxides, formaldehyde, and toluene.
NASA recommends a person to have about 15-18 mid to large plants for a home that is 1,800 square feet. This is one of the most unique plants as it converts CO2 to O2 at night. With no air flow, in a sealed room, 6-8 of these plants would allow a person to live.
Lithops
Have you ever been looking at plants in a store and noticed a pot that seems to have nothing more than rocks inside? Lithops succulents known as living stones, the leaves of Lithops look similar to small rocks or stones. There are huge cult Lithops following so much so that in some regions Lithops are rare and hard to find.
Sometimes called split rocks or pebble plants, living stone plants are extremely drought-resistant and are widely popular in low-water gardens in desert regions. They can be grown both indoors and outdoors, but outdoor growers should be careful that they don’t get too much water.
These odd little plants have a single pair of leaves that store water and resemble stones. When kept in an area with a good source of light, they flower that of what resembles daisy blooms from in between its leaves.
If they lack the necessary light they need, this plant can lose its stone appearance and will die. They need very little water or care, be careful as overwatering can kill them.
Tillandsia -Air Plant
This plant is a perfect choice for any home! With its beautiful red flowers, the plant offers a unique look that is also ornamental. Tillandsias are easy to keep for months or longer for decorative purposes and they look better in pairs! This is a bromeliad that is gorgeous and sure to be one of your favorites.
Native to Ecuador forests, this beautiful plant is made to thrive and is a perfect fit for any office, dorm, or home! Be sure to keep the vase center full of water and water the soil of the plant when it gets dry on the side. Let this plant have access to bright or indirect light or access to the morning sun.
Pothos (Epipremnum)
Pothos plant, which is also called Devil’s Ivy, and is well known to be a great plant for an office. It is a plant that can do well without constant care and it has an air-purifying effect you are sure to love in any office, or anywhere. It does not matter if it is a small or large space.
This plant can tolerate a variety of different lighting situations, even low light. They don’t typically do as well in direct sunlight, but other than that, they do not have any preferences. If too little or too much sunlight is received by the pothos plant, you will notice a lot of colored zones or none at all.
Based on the colored zones of the pothos plant you can tell what the plant needs. Do not over water the plant as it leads to the roots rotting, but don’t let the plant dry out either as diseases and pests can become an issue.
